GLASS FIBRE MESH FABRICS

Asteknik Engineering is commercial agent of Glass Fibre Mesh Fabrics of Saint-Gobain.


Specifications

Glass fiber mesh fabrics are made of yarn or roving by means of leno or plain weave.

A high quality synthetic coating on glass yarn protects our mesh against alkaline influences from adhesives and other materials.

Tensile Strength Test: During 28 days, glass fiber mesh is left in %5 NaOH solution, at the end of this period, the strength of glass fiber mesh must be %50 of initial tensile strength. Asteknik glass fiber mesh is far above %50.

Elongation of Vertex glass fiber mesh is not exceeding %4.

Mesh fabrics should be used when two materials with different coefficients of expansion come together.

Vertex glass fiber mesh is produced in E-Glass in both directions : warp and weft.

E-Glass has high tensile strength and excellent elasticity.
